♡ 24 ( +1 | -1 ) How much? When, and how?How often do you play chess offline? When did you learn to play chess? How did you learn? And, most important, how much do you care about it? Is it a sport you take seriously, casually, do you just pass it by, is it your main addiction...etc thank you

♡ 43 ( +1 | -1 ) wellas often as i can, usually at least once a day, except sunday, when i dont get time to really.
I learned by reading the directions out of the cardboard box in my 3rd grade class. I sucked really bad. I didnt really start learning how to really play until the beginning of this year.
I have started taking it semi-seriously. I want to be a good tournament player someday, however, it will not break my heart if i do not succeed.

♡ 66 ( +1 | -1 ) Iplay online every day - mostly Gameknot. I played casual chess in high school and then stopped playing for about 5 years. I just started back up this year and decided to strip my mind of all previous chess knowledge and re-train myself using a variety of methods: Chessmaster, Fritz, books, videos, and much practice. I take the game VERY seriously and I joined a chess club and would like to participate in otb tournaments. Someday I hope to reach GM / IM status and maybe even a world championship!?!?
Not that I'm the next Fischer but I definitely like the thought of being the next US Chess Champion.

♡ 54 ( +1 | -1 ) not in a chess club......but, I play every day.....lots of blitz games and on gk.....I get frustrated when I lose but I realise I am trying to be too good too soon. I have never had a lesson and have probably only played otb about 20 times in my life. Have only been playing since last year though learned the basics when I was a nipper. My wife says if I dont get off the computer every now and again she is going to divorce me !!! My three year old son already knows the names of the pieces and where they go on the board.......I have high hopes for him......:)
